VERMONT GYPSY HORSES ~ THE OSGOOD FAMILY

Welcome to Vermont Gypsy Horses ~   The Horseshoe Ranch, owned by the Osgood family.  Our farm is home to several beautiful Gypsy horses, and 1 beautiful Icelandic horse, Drottning proudly owned by our daughter Emilie.

****We are thrilled to welcome our gorgeous new filly, Strike of the Sword ~ Honor.  She is named in honor of our son Andrew, his mission in Afghanistan.  We are thrilled with this gorgeous filly!

Our Farm is located in beautiful, Topsham, Vermont.  Owned and operated by Joe, Michelle and Emilie Osgood. We are a small family farm dedicated to breeding and training quality Gypsy horses.    Our family handles each horse every day, and all of our horses are trained by us, using natural horsemanship principals.   We fell in love with the Gypsy horse in  2003 when we purchased our first Gypsy horse,  and have since added several to our little band of Gypsies.   Gypsy horses have incredible temperaments,  are extremely kind, and have very  willing attitudes.   Of course the best part, those Fairy Tale looks!!    We have purchased very well bred Gypsy horses with incredible temperaments,  traditional conformation, tons of hair and feathers, and true Gypsy style for the foundation of our breeding program, which includes lines going back to  Sids Good Stallion, Lenny, Romeo, Tumbleweed and St. Clarins.  We occasionally have a Gypsy horse available for sale.

Our main focus and passion is trail riding.  Gypsy horses are amazing family horses, and will do anything you ask of them.  We plan on doing a bit of showing with our Gypsies, but you will mostly find us doing what we love to do best, trail riding!!

We are truely blessed to have these amazing horses in our lives!  Thank you for visiting our website, we welcome visitors, please call or email for an appointment, or if you have any questions.
